Steps to Strength

Change starts with small steps. So here are six everyday activities you can practice to better your mental health.

Set Daily Goals

Setting daily goals, like making your bed and working out, can help you be more productive and healthy. Getting small jobs done early in the day makes you more motivated for bigger challenges and breaks up your routine.

Go Outside + Exercise

Going outside and moving your body can help you feel happier and less stressed. Fresh air and sunlight also give you more energy and help you sleep better. Start small steps, try and go outside for 15 minutes everyday!

Practice Graditude

Practicing gratitude can make you feel happier by focusing on the good things in your life. It helps reduce stress and improves your overall mindset. Every morning try and write three things you are grateful for!

Express Your Emotions

Even though it might sound scary, talking to a therapist, adult, or friend whom you trust can go a long way. It will help you better understand your thoughts and feelings, and be a good resource for help.

Set Long Term Goals

Setting long-term goals gives you a sense of purpose and something to look forward to. It helps you stay motivated, build confidence, and feel more in control of your future.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness helps you stay present and calm, making it easier to handle stress. It can also improve your focus and help you feel more in control of your emotions
